BU is an innovative, international institution offering high quality education, research, enterprise and professional practice; whilst CEMP is a research and innovation centre based in the Media School at Bournemouth University. It was awarded its status in 2004 by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and is the only HEFCE - funded centre for excellence in media in the UK.

Being a student at the university, James also provides his web development services on a regular basis to CEMP. Recent projects include a full rebuild of the main CEMP website, two University sub-sites for short courses and TV formats, as well as a Bath University collaboration for the Centre for Digitial Entertainment.

Current projects include a collaboration with BU for the Poole Literary Festival, and a sales site for Caspar - CEMP's peer assesment tool.
