Community Work

As part of our Kascadia in the community programme, we regularly donate our design and consultation services towards community related projects and businesses with charitable status.

We recently worked with Pelican Children’s Centre. A local, parent founded childcare facility setup in Plymouth almost 10 years ago with lottery funding to provide services to the local community of Keyham.

Pelican sought the need to gain a credible web presence in order to compete with other government and privately funded childcare providers in area whilst also improving communicaton links between the centre and parents/careres.

Working with the Pelican management, we began by bringing their existing brand identity up to date with a fresher, more appropriate style. This was then transferred onto other marketing material such as flyers and posters, as well as other internal documentation such as invoices, staff badges and newsletter headers.

Finally and most importantly, we developed the centre’s website, giving them an easy to use, appealable online interface as required. The centre now has closer, more effective links with parents and the wider local community.

This project is still on-going, and next on the agenda is to complete the re-brand throughout the centre, both internally and externally. To visit the centre’s website click here.
